Amplitude Inequalities for Differential Graded Modules

چکیده

Differential Graded Algebras can be studied through their Differential Graded modules. Among these, the compact ones attract particular attention. This paper proves that over a suitable chain Differential Graded Algebra R, each compact Differential Graded module M satisfies ampM ≥ ampR, where amp denotes amplitude which is defined in a straightforward way in terms of the homology of a DG module. In other words, the homology of each compact DG module M is at least as long as the homology of R itself. Conversely, DG modules with shorter homology than R are not compact, and so in general, there exist DG modules with finitely generated homology which are not compact. Hence, in contrast to ring theory, it makes no sense to define finite global dimension of DGAs by the condition that each DG module with finitely generated homology must be compact.

Effects of Geometric Nonlinearity on Stress Analysis in Large Amplitude Vibration of Moderately Thick Annular Functionally Graded Plate

This paper deals with the nonlinear free vibration of thick annular functionally graded material plates. The thickness is assumed to be constant. Material properties are assumed to be graded in the thickness direction according to a simple power law distribution in terms of the volume fractions of the constituents. The formulations are based on the first-order shear deformation plate theory and...

Variational inequalities on Hilbert $C^*$-modules

We introduce variational inequality problems on Hilbert $C^*$-modules and we prove several existence results for variational inequalities defined on closed convex sets. Then relation between variational inequalities, $C^*$-valued metric projection and fixed point theory  on  Hilbert $C^*$-modules is studied.

Small Scale Effects on the Large Amplitude Nonlinear Vibrations of Multilayer Functionally Graded Composite Nanobeams Reinforced with Graphene-Nanoplatelets

The main purpose of the present investigation is to analyze more comprehensively the size-dependent nonlinear free vibration response of multilayer functionally graded graphene platelet-reinforced composite (GPLRC) nanobeams. As a consequence, both of the hardening stiffness and softening stiffness of size effect are taken into consideration by implementation of the nonlocal str...

ON GRADED LOCAL COHOMOLOGY MODULES DEFINED BY A PAIR OF IDEALS

Let $R = bigoplus_{n in mathbb{N}_{0}} R_{n}$ be a standardgraded ring, $M$ be a finitely generated graded $R$-module and $J$be a homogenous ideal of $R$. In this paper we study the gradedstructure of the $i$-th local cohomology module of $M$ defined by apair of ideals $(R_{+},J)$, i.e. $H^{i}_{R_{+},J}(M)$. Moreprecisely, we discuss finiteness property and vanishing of thegraded components $H^...

The Artinian property of certain graded generalized local chohomology modules

Let $R=oplus_{nin Bbb N_0}R_n$ be a Noetherian homogeneous ring with local base ring $(R_0,frak{m}_0)$, $M$ and $N$ two finitely generated graded $R$-modules. Let $t$ be the least integer such that $H^t_{R_+}(M,N)$ is not minimax. We prove that $H^j_{frak{m}_0R}(H^t_{R_+}(M,N))$ is Artinian for $j=0,1$. Also, we show that if ${rm cd}(R_{+},M,N)=2$ and $tin Bbb N_0$, then $H^t_{frak{m}_0R}(H^2_...
